Research Collaboration Agreement Nus

Imec is a world-leading research and innovation centre in the fields of nanoelectronics and digital technologies. The combination of our widely recognized leadership in microchip technology and deep software and ICT expertise makes us unique. Using our best-in-class infrastructure and our local and global ecosystem of partners from a wide range of industries, we create breakthrough innovations in application areas such as healthcare, smart cities and mobility, logistics and manufacturing, energy and education. Since 2013, Sorbonne Paris Cité University and the NEI have signed an agreement to promote new scientific cooperation between Europe and ASEAN. In 2013, joint calls for tenders were launched to finance joint research projects and student/doctoral exchanges and in 2014 added the possibility of funding cooperation projects in the field of education. In order to safeguard the interests and intellectual property rights of the university, the ILO supports the negotiation, design and completion of IP management agreements with university staff and IP co-owners, as well as licensing agreements and valuation options with companies for the commercialization of academic IPs. The ILO will also put in place the necessary confidentiality agreements (SIAs) to facilitate discussions on the management and commercialization of intellectual property where the confidentiality of the subject matter to be discussed is necessary. If you have previously registered an invention disk drive (ID), contact the competent technology manager responsible for managing your identifier if a company is interested in commercializing the invention. Together, imec and the NEIs intend to address some of these bottlenecks by using the theoretical, experimental and technical know-how of the R&D teams involved. The main goal is to bring QKD and QRNG technologies to a much more scalable, robust and less expensive platform. Research cooperation is supported by the National Research Foundation Singapore as part of the Quantum Engineering programme. Our multidisciplinary and real-world approach to education, research and entrepreneurship allows us to work closely with industry, governments and academia to solve crucial and complex problems that are relevant to Asia and the world.
