In order to safeguard the interests and intellectual property rights of the university, the ILO supports the negotiation, design and completion of IP management agreements with university staff and IP co-owners, as well as licensing agreements and valuation options with companies for the commercialization of academic IPs. The ILO will also put in place the necessary confidentiality agreements (SIAs) to facilitate discussions on the management and commercialization of intellectual property where the confidentiality of the subject matter to be discussed is necessary.
