Irc Agreement

The amount of tax collected for a temperance agreement under this section may not exceed the amount of the fee in effect on the day of the adoption of this subsection. Unless otherwise stipulated in this subsection, any agreement reached by the secretary in point a) will remain in force for the duration of the agreement. In this section, the Secretary sets out procedures for an independent administrative review of termination rates for subjects seeking such a review. The secretary is authorized to enter into written agreements with any subject under which that subject is authorized to pay any tax in installments if the secretary finds that such an agreement will facilitate the full or partial recovery of that liability. If the secretary finds that the financial situation of a subject with whom the secretary has entered into an agreement covered by a) has changed substantially, the secretary may amend, modify or terminate that agreement. In May 2016, at the request of the CRI Work Council, a staff committee, the FNV was invited to negotiate a Cao on behalf of its members. In December 2016, union members voted unanimously in favour of a final agreement between the CRI executive and the FNV. The IRC is the fourth Dutch development NGO to negotiate a cao with the FNV. The others are the SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, Oxfam Novib and the Dutch Red Cross. These agreements are available on the FNV website. In the case of an agreement reached by the secretary in point (a) on the partial collection of a tax debt, the secretary reviews the agreement at least every two years. On 10 May, the CRI and the Dutch union FNV signed a three-year collective agreement for 2017-2019. The agreement, known by the Dutch acronym cao, is a legally binding document that covers all primary working conditions, such as salary level, working time and leave rights for IRC workers under Dutch employment contracts.

The CRI is the fourth Dutch development NGO to negotiate an agreement with the FNV. The IRC executive believes that the cao will help create a safer future for the IRC by providing stability and predictability to the organization for the next three years.
